BICC Chinese Language Learning and Teaching Seminar

Date: 29th November 2009

Venue: University of Manchester

Theme: Chinese Language Learning Difficulty (follow-up of BICC Chinese Language Learning Difficulty Survey)

Call for Paper Description:

The Chinese Language Difficulty Survey conducted by BICC in 2007-2008 identified six difficulty factors in learning Chinese. They are Grammar, Aural Receptivity, Words, Oral Productivity, Pronunciation and Recalling. In the forthcoming language seminar, BICC would like to invite field researchers or teachers to provide their accounts of these six groups of difficulties. These accounts should either contribute to our understanding of these difficulties, or to the development of relevant teaching methodologies.

The results of the BICC difficulty survey can be found here
